The Bonaventure Development District covers over 2,500 acres of land, with over 5,000 residential units and over 160 acres of water bodies. Calvin, Giordano & Associates prepared the Stormwater Management Master Plan, as well as construction documents and permits to replace two 30-year old storm water pump stations that transfer water from the District's closed canal system to the SFWMD's North New River Canal. These pumps provide flood control for the residents and businesses located in the Bonaventure basin area.
