Luxury Yacht Air Quality Assessment
Indoor Air Quality was retained to conduct an assessment on board a luxury yacht where the owners experienced severe respiratory discomfort upon entering the living quarters of the vessel. Through researching the contents and an extensive sampling protocol, the airborne contaminant and its sources were identified.
Luxury Condominium Renovation
The Indoor Air Quality Division was retained by a luxury residential condominium association in Palm Beach, Florida, where a property-wide corridor renovation project was underway. In the initial stages, the contractor and designer identified significant fungal growth in several corridors. The Indoor Air Quality Division joined the renovation team and immediately prepared a thorough protocol for the remediation of impacted building materials on site, while allowing the renovation project to continue, through efficient scheduling with a remediation contractor. The mold remediation project was successfully completed ahead of schedule and the renovation project was ongoing throughout the process. All work was completed prior to the return of the seasonal residents.
Caribbean Resort Construction Site
CGA’s Indoor Air Quality Division was retained to provide on-site consulting during the construction of a large flagship resort in the Caribbean, where our team was able to identify potential construction deficiencies prior to the completion of the project and avoid future indoor air quality issues. Through these periodic inspections, a vast knowledge of the project was attained. When a devastating hurricane severely impacted the island, CGA rapidly responded and immediately assembled a highly qualified team of remediation professionals and directed the remediation of impacted materials on site. CGA supervised the remediation work for the following months, until the project was back on track and construction resumed. Today the resort is fully operational and was completed prior to the renovation of other previously existing resorts on the same island.
