Calvin, Giordano & Associates is supporting Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management's efforts to ensure the safety of residents living around Lake Okeechobee in the event of a breach of the Herbert Hoover Dike or in advance of an approaching hurricane. With the joint efforts of the local, state, and federal levels of government, an emergency evacuation plan is being created to address the roles and responsibilities of each jurisdiction, government agency, and area resident. CGA coordinated a regional summit at the Palm Beach County Convention Center and developed the policy guidance document. CGA was also instrumental in developing the Public Outreach brochure.
