I-595 PPP Express Lanes Project
Selected as the Concessionaire's Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CEI) consultant for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) $1.25 billion I-595 Express Lanes PPP (Public/Private Partnership) Project, CGA will oversee the progress of the construction and monitor compliance with the contract documents for the project Concessionaire, ACS Infrastructure Development. The 10.5-mile project will extend from the I-75/Sawgrass Expressway interchange to the I-595/I-95 interchange.
Atlantic Boulevard Roadway Improvement
The Atlantic Boulevard roadway improvement project extends from East of I-95 to west of State Road-5 (US-1). This roadway improvement project includes milling and resurfacing, widening, striping and signage, construction of turn lanes, traffic islands and median closures and signalization improvements. Also included is the canal embankment protection, concrete sidewalks and ADA improvements, lighting, landscaping and irrigation improvements.
I-75/I-595 Interchange
CGA provided CEI and contract management services under this contract that included the construction of three projects: the construction of an 18-span slip ramp bridge over water, a one-span bridge connector with MSE wall construction and the milling and resurfacing of I-75 from Sheridan Street to I-75 / I-595 / Sawgrass interchange. Additional construction activities included roadway lighting, guardrail, signage and other miscellaneous items.
