Weston Library Park seeks to engage the user within an outdoor environment that capitalizes on the public library as a neighbor. As a park that celebrates the works and lives of famous Florida authors, the park provides outdoor classroom space as a mechanism to bridge the school across the street and the literary resource next door. Meandering walks connect gazebos with stepped seating, while the infinity-edge fountain quiets out the vehicles driving by. Unifying the park is a narrative trail celebrating the history of Weston. CGA oversaw all aspects of the development of the park from the conceptual design and site details to the bidding and construction.
