Cobblestone is a two-phased project that was designed based on the principles of Traditional Neighborhood Developments. Great emphasis was placed on enhancing and encouraging pedestrian experiences through the location of shade trees and planting schemes that broke away from any monotony. While the buildings’ architectural expression were done as a series of repetitive typologies, the site and planting design developed by CGA created defined spaces, each articulated with a variation of texture that responded to either the intensity of the building’s use or its prominence within the hierarchal makeup of the overall neighborhood’s design.
