CGA’s Indoor Air Quality Division was retained to provide on-site consulting during the construction of a large flagship resort in the Caribbean, where our team was able to identify potential construction deficiencies prior to the completion of the project and avoid future indoor air quality issues. Through these periodic inspections, a vast knowledge of the project was attained, when a devastating hurricane severely impacted the island. CGA rapidly responded and immediately assembled a highly qualified team of remediation professionals and directed the remediation of impacted materials on site. CGA supervised the remediation work for the following months, until the project was back on track and construction resumed. Today the resort is fully operational, and was completed prior to the renovation of other previously-existing resorts on the same island.
