Since 1983, the Construction Services Division has provided a wide range of construction management services for municipalities as well as clients in the private sector. Our services include field inspection, contract administration, project certification, project coordination, permitting and public involvement. Our staff acts as the “eyes and ears” for the engineer in the field, with daily reports to ensure that timely and quality work is performed.
Case Studies
City of Sunny Isles Beach, FL Atlantic Isles Roadway and Utility Improvements
Construction Services is responsible for the design and inspection of the drainage system, roadway re-surfacing and the sewer system for this project. The team interfaced with several municipal agencies and project jurisdictions in the permitting and inspection process. CGA’s Engineering, Surveying and Construction team also assisted in determining the location points for the new sewer connection at the property line for each lot.
Bay Harbor Islands Community Enhancement
CGA constructed roadway and streetscape improvements for the Town of Bay Harbor, Florida, located on West Island, north of Kane Concourse. Some of the services provided include pedestrian roadway lighting system, roadway, drainage and landscape improvements throughout the project area and permit applications and certifications.
City of Weston, FL City Hall
CGA provided construction management for the Weston City Hall, which was built on a three-and-a-half acre site located at 17200 Royal Palm Boulevard. The Grand Opening was held December 5, 2007 on the grounds of the new building. Presentations were made in recognition of our staff for the outstanding efforts made on behalf of the City in bringing this high profile project to completion.
