Pembroke Pines Building Code Department
The City of Pembroke Pines is the second largest city in Broward County and at one point was the fastest growing, which meant the City had to maintain a sizable building and zoning department to accommodate the boom. Unfortunately, with the current recession along with major decrease in building activity, the City is forced to evaluate options to cut cost and still provide building and zoning services. The City came to a conclusion of outsourcing the building and zoning services. On June 18th the Pembroke Pines City Commissioners voted to approve a five-year contract with Calvin, Giordano & Associates to administrate the City's building and zoning department.
